Creating a visual identity that was unique and communicated the heart of Tandem was imperative for the Director. With this in mind, the goal was to capture the essence of community, vibrance and common ground. We landed on a modern, colorful, and bold to ensure this nonprofit would stand out as the leader in care for women that they are. This stands out in the bright color palette, geometric shapes, and diverse imagery throughout. We carried over all of these elements to a beautiful new web experience, and continue to add marketing and program materials as Tandem expands.

Sandi Rae | Author, OT, Parenting Coach
Sandi Rae is an author, storyteller, occupational therapist, parenting coach, and a mother to three - there's nothing this woman cannot do! Inspired by her work with families, Sandi set out to write stories that would feel like a children's title, but speak to a parent's heart. She tells us that parenting is nothing as we expect it to be, it is much harder, but also much sweeter. Sandi uses her credentials both professionally and as a mother herself, to capture the hearts of her audience. So grab your favorite mug of coffee and cozy in for a story about doing life together.
Creating a visual identity that encompassed warmth, comfort, and common ground was essential. We landed on rustic meets modern to exemplify the eclectic nature of Sandi herself, her variety of credentials and offerings for parents. This plays out in the little elements of the design - rustic imagery, blended font styles - both contemporary and whimsical, and a warm color palette. We carried over all of these elements to a beautiful new website, drawing her audience into the community she provides.

MOXIE THRIFT BOUTIQUE
Moxie was created as an extension of Tandem Resource Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving women and children in crisis. As the needs of mamas and littles grew, they knew they needed to expand their programming and their reach. Their passion at Tandem is that every mama finds a community to belong, the resources and the support she needs. This includes programs such as pregnancy medical care, mental health services, case management, life coaching, parenting and life-skills education, vocational training, housing and onsite childcare.
With mamas in mind, Tandem created a thrift store with a boutique shopping experience, creating self-sustaining income to support programs for mamas + littles in their community
Because Moxie is an extension of Tandem - we wanted to create a visual identity that complemented Tandem, but was also unique. We landed on similar bold colors with a contemporary meets vintage vibe. This can be seen in the contemporary logo, bold headers, bright colors mixed with vintage imagery and details. We carried over all of these elements to a beautiful new website, highlighting the mission of Moxie and amazing products you may find.

NICOLE PILLOW | LIFE COACH + SPEAKER
Using her personal story of a childhood of not quite feeling enough, Nicole Pillow developed the Inner Beauty Project. She imagines a world where every woman is happy with who she is, from the inside out. Based on the truth that we are all loved, valuable and worthy in the eyes of our Creator, Nicole has developed life changing workshops to help women discover who they are and the beauty they hold. Cultivating beauty from within.
Collaborating with Nicole is always an adventure as she brings big ideas to the table and I am here for all of it! We set out to create a visual identity that was bold, glamorous, and elicited a feeling of sophistication. This can be seen in the layered boutique style of her website, the purple and grey color scheme, and gold foil details.

Working with Bethany was effortless. She created a website for my photography business and completely exceeded my expectations!
